Free flow exhaust questions

Hi everyone, I would like to put a free flow exhaust on my GTI130 just for the IMO 'nicer' exhaust note. I know it's a GTI and don't expect or want any power gains from this mod.
I have limited experience with jet skis so my questions are:
- Will there by any extra heat generated inside the engine compartment by adding the free flow exhaust.
- Is it likely to cause any exhaust error codes
- Are there likely to have any other adverse effects on the ski.
My ski is at the moment 100% stock but I do like the sound of the exhaust. Below is the one I think I may buy.

No you will be fine. All you are doing is removing the resonator which acts as a muffler. I will say I put a free flow on my 07 RXT and took it back out shortly after. With the exhaust dumping in the pump tunnel it had a horrible drone when riding at any rpm under 6200 rpm.

I had the same experience. I bought an 04 RXP that the previous owner had removed the resonator and the drone under 4000 rpm was annoying. I did not have a resonator to re install so I went with a Riva rear exhaust that sounded nice with no drone.

Yeah I'm thinking about going with a Riva Rear exhaust on my RXP. My gf keeps asking what I want for x-mas.......

The noise is horrible. I did it on my 155. If you shorten the water box, it would sound better with the free flow exhaust
