Found this white plastic wing nut in the hull of my 01 RX DI. Anyone know what its for? Found it near the rear

It holds the plastic driveshaft coupler cover on the back of the engine.

I guess that's why my cover is missing haha, thank you!

I would get a cover as it not only protects hoses and hands from the spinning PTO but also stops water from slinging into the carbs if you get water in the hull.
