The one thing I’ll throw in is, most fire engines in the automotive world are normally perfectly fine. My family owns a salvage yard and we have had great success with cars that had been torched.
We have always pulled the motor and test run them sitting on the ground in most cases.
PWC’s having a smaller engine may be more susceptible to heat damage as compared to car engines. That would be the only concern I’d have as compared to a car engine.
