Fogging rxp

Silly question but should I be fogging the engine while it's running? Using the factory tube.

You can.. The fogging spray was meant to be used on a running engine, to protect it during the time it was going to be idle.

If your only shutting down for a week or so, probably would be a waste. It would depend on the amount of humidity and temperatures of your geographical location. Heavy humidity, more fogging; less humidity, less fogging.

Anytime your going to set it up for a month or longer, should be fogged and battery removed and stored in a warm, dry place (ventilated if on a maintainer).

so fogging with the "XP-S anti-corrosive lube" that the dealers sell is ok to use with the engine running then?
the owners manual says not to have it running but i thought it made more sence to have it running.
