Flushing, water first then start?

I forgot I was supposed to start then turn water on then water off then engine off. I did it backwards. Water ran for 10 seconds then I started it, another 10 after I shut engine off. Will it have damaged anything or do I need to do anything special?

If it cracks and starts now, you'll be fine. Start it without any water.

Ok, thx. It starts and runs just fine. Haven't used it in a long time somdecided to start it but forgot the rules are opposite of my boat
