Is the white fitting w/red cap the flush kit? Would the 2000 GTS have come with it installed from factory or would it have been bought and put on? Its spliced into the line w/arrow pointing OUT from the head. Is this correct?

You are correct it's the flush kit. Sounds to be in the wrong location. Can you post a pick and tell us what your machine is. You will get better advice.

Sorry I missed it, you did put you machine in there. On my 96 GTI it is located on the rear side of the engine head. I just take a short piece of water hose and clamp it on. Better than buying the flush attachments seadoo sells.

Yes its a '00 GTS and has 2 lines entering the rear of the head (and one out the front to the exhaust). There are embossed arrows showing flow in and out. The white valve is spliced into the line connected to the OUT???? Thats why wonderin' if comes already installed or if someone put it in and is it right? I woulld think it would splice into IN line to circulate through cooling passages in motor and through exhaust?

Best thing to do is trace the hose back. It should run out to the pump housing and have a bulkhead there. That way you can be sure. By all rights it should be on the in side. Not sure on yours but both that have pick up water from the pump housing in the back.

Hmmmm. After a 'lil more snooping it seems that the fitting does attach to line going out and then that line is to be pinched off, which would make sense as far as forcing water through (albeit backwards) and not just out the hole in rear next to nozzle, but I still don't see why it wouldn't just splice into the line going in?????

good question, i'm curious about that too.

just to reconfirm - the line with the flushing spigot is the line out?
when flushing we block off one side of the line out? and force it back to the motor?
when towing, we do not clamp off that line (with the flushing spigot) we clamp off the line in?
