Every time I take the boat out in the water I get water in the boat as soon as I put it in. There is a hole under the drivers seat where the water drains and the hose goes all the way to the back of the boat, right next to the bilge exhaust. I was wondering if maybe that's where the water is coming in? but I don't see a flap of any kind that prevents the water entering by pressure into the boat. Should there be check valve? Any sugestions please pass them my way. thx.

Thank you so much for your help! I found out that what I need is a "Scupper Valve" that does have a flap that prevents water from coming into the boat....Super...once again this forum has proven that it really works and saves people a ton of money. Thank's once again for your time....

There should be a Scupper valve at the transom. The factory valve should be a rubber flap, but there is a ball style too.

If you look around, you can get them for $12 or less. I think I got my new one for about $8.

m 97 challenger has the ball style, kinda cool looking. But it seems to work well. i would recommend that type.
