FL--Looking for brand new (or almost) 180

newboat

Am seriously in the market for a new or very lightly used 180.

Primary purpose of the boat is to tour friends/relatives from out of town on the ICW/Indian River. And to wake board my 240# ( like a brick S.H.) son and one or two of his smaller friends. No jumping etc, they're not kids anymore. They use this to keep in shape for surfing. And boredom.

So....is this the boat for us? And....

I see the factory Sea Doo $5000 off sticker ads. When you read the fine print, it reads like the dealer has to contribute to that. So...here on the east coast of FL (Canaveral, or Orlando)...how much should I look at paying for one? You guys seem to be tuned into the market, pls help me out.

Don't know how many leftover '08's there are, etc. But are there any differences between '08, 09 and 2010's?

Have filled out a couple-three dealer questionaires, so expect the phone to start ringing today....or next week.

Thanks for your help and input....and oh yes, we are rearranging my somewhat small garage to fit it in. I currently have an I/O boat, in commercial storage, and figure the $100 a month I pay there will go quite a bit toward payment on a new boat. (Anyone interested in a '99 Regal 4.3?).
