Hi y'all!
My husband and I live on a lake and decided to buy a boat...for the first time. We think we got the steal of the century. 1 owner, only 7 hours on it!!!! Garage kept only, incredibly anal, fixed the supercharger, included 4 neoprene life jackets, bikini top, boat cover, vinyl is impeccable. The boat had not one flaw. We get it for 15,000. The owner was the most kind and caring man I've ever known. He would probably drive to my house if we needed help with it!
So second time out we hit a stump. 700 dollar fix. Also pulled up to my uncles dock without using the bumpers and scratched the stickers. Fourth time out we sucked up a toe rope. Fifth time out we got two sticks stuck in the impeller. We are just bad luck. But we absolutely love the boat. It's beautiful and fun. Oh and we installed the hydroturf. Love it. Clarion m606 gets installed this week.
Any recommendations on a good anchor? The one it came with is kind of round and covered in a black hard rubber/gel type material. It doesn't catch on the bottom though. It takes us like 20 minutes to stop drifting. Thoughts?
