Finished up the trailer bunks and got them adjusted
Have a hump seat for the XP, Jettrim covers for both in the future
Bars should come in tomorrow for the hx

Which ski would benefit more from the 85/88 R&D nozzle?

Man that HX is juicy! I wanna squeeze tha juice! Is that the standard black hydro turf? And, it looks like the single line pattern correct? Ordering mine next week.. I didn't realize they charge more for not having the "hydroturf" letters on it and even more for the "premium" colors/pattern design...
I saw the pic when you first put the turf on, but in your last pics, what are those black pad looking things going up the side where the rear hatch is? Is that included in the kit?

Yes standard black, single line
I ordered off eBay, but through their site you have many more options

No, not included,
I had some left over from a sheet I had.
The right side had a dime size gouge/hole that the PO had patched, so it covers the hole, I didn't want to put any stickers on and maybe it will help out when riding

Looking awesome. I have the same two skis and trailer. Hopefully mine look that good when I get to the HX.

looking good! when you get a chance, take a full on side shot of the HX.

Also, if you're adding the vts and need something for the button, see if you can find one of those after maket billet start button housings to clip onto your bars, but see if they make one for a 96 spx and use that one, because it has TWO holes..one for the start button and the other vertical oval for the trim button.

Best shot I had on my phone right now
The stock stem looks a bit odd, but I like the bars a lot better than stock, also the position is a lot better also

Yeah I'll be keeping a eye out for the billet start housing.

You could move your stop/start by the kill switch or to the other side of the bars and zip tie the 2 vts buttons like you have your red button now

Rode all day Monday

Cousin testing out the HX
He got some awesome drone footage of me on the XP and and HX, I'll see if I can get it from him and post it

Effin A man, that's what it's all about.. I may just go ride in a lake after all. FYI. Never on my spx or HX have I rode in anything but bay to gulf passes and the Gulf of Mexico. I have NO IDEA what it's like to ride on something as smooth as what you're on. I bet it's a whole new world of fun. I spend most of my time trying not to get crushed by a swell. And racer you're right.. The HX DOES cut the chop nicely head on

One of the reasons I like to go out on weekdays to a big lake. No big boats and wakes. I can go full speed for 5 - 6 miles. Water is dead calm. The launch Ramps are deserted. Only the old salts, fisher men and us are there.

A little update for the HX, on vacation in Destin, FL this week. Stopped by @Matt Braley shop and picked up a Factory pipe for the HX. It was great to meet in person and see all the goodies he has stashed away.
Excited to install the pipe and see how it rips!
