exhaust rave valve

I pulled the seats today n ran on the trailer just to make sure all is looking good n no leaks. I noticed on one the exhaust rave looking cap thing looked to b leaking a tiny bit. what's its function? And should I mess with it.

Leaking water. It's the one on the exhaust

ok. That's the water regulator.

On the 800, they decided that they wanted a tunable exhaust. At idle, they inject a bunch of water, to help with torque. As the RPM's come up... they dry out the pipe, to help peak RPM's.

If it's leaking... take it apart, clean it up, and put it back together.
