exhaust port

Is there supposed to be a flapper or some kind of one way valve on the exhaust port to keep water from entering the engine bay in case the exhaust hose falls off??? I have an 08 speedster 150.

No exhaust flapper to my knowledge. You could check the "Parts" link for a diagram to get a better look.
