Just need some ideas of where exhaust coul dleaking from into engine compartment. Doesn't appear to be coming from hoses or manifold. Is there something else that can wear in the back of the ski. It's a 96 seadoo xp 717. Doesn't appear to have rave valves. Just some ideas, Thank you.

My ski would run great for awhile and then it would lose power, rev back up to speed, lose power, rev back up to speed, and then it acted like it was starving for fuel, finally shut off. After here at the house, cranks up and runs great. Alot of exhaust in engine compartment, which means less oxygen to burn. Any other ideas would be helpful. Fuel lines have been changed and carbs are good.

Exhaust Leak(s)

Check the exhaust gasket from the block to the manifold and the gasket where the exhaustt pipe attaches to the manifold. From there back you should see water leaking also. You are just going to need to make a visual inspection.

Look for broken bolts, flanges, hose clamps, and defective hose.
