Excess smoking?

I know my GTX with the 787 does not smoke much if at all. But what about this 951? Im looking at this machine but is is smoking more than normal? This was a video from the seller, he's 4.5hrs away from me. Selling price $2200 firm. Thoughts?

I guess it depends. It is definitely too much smoke, but it could be for a number of reasons... Was this the first start after winterization, or was it sitting for a long period beforehand?

I think it had been sitting for a while but not actually sure. Compression on this 951 is at 125/125

Compression is fine. Perfect is 130/130. The oil looked dark in the tank. If it’s blue walk away, it’s the wrong oil. Could be the oil pump is out of adjustment.

I thought the same so asked about the oil. It’s supposed to be Mystik full synthetic which is purple. I run this in my GTX so I’m ok with that. He’s had it only since February. I think he buys and sells so I don’t really know the true history of the ski.
