My 2000 gtx seems to have a speedo problem. It seems to work, then it just quits, than it works again. My gauges are digital so I am not sure if it is just a short or if it would be something else. Not sure where to begin.
The rideplate paddle wheel may have lost a magnet. Have you cleaned & dielectric greased the harness connectors? Moisture on the pins or reciever can turn to an
oxide coating and prevent sensor current flow. Bills86e
A gps solves this easiest, in jetski circles it is called a dreamometer because of the unstable readings, I use a garmin 76, I got a world map disk that is old but the main water bodies do not change as quickly as city streets change a land unit.
