engine temp sensor for mercury 240 efi

I have a seadoo challenger boat year 2000. I live in Ireland which makes it very hard for me to get parts. My engine tempetaure senor is gone i cant seem to find 1 on the internet. Anybody knows where i can buy 1.

I think it's crowley marine on Internet where I have ordered pards for the Merc.

Curious to know what happens when temp sensor goes out. My merc 240 efi quits running intermittently on occasion but will start right back up. I can't figure out what's wrong.
