engine siezed

hi all i've just recently had a full engine rebuild on a 2006 3ddi i've used about a tank and a half of fuel and i never ever went to full throttle as was wanting to run it in nice and slow its drinking oil as i topped it to the top every time i went out on it just to make sure i was using oil so my problem is i was out yesterday for about an hour then all of a sudden it just stopped i tried to re start and got nowt so got back home i thought I'd pull pump and prop out but engine is stuck solid i phoned dealer as engine is under warranty and he's agreed to look at it but he said over phone that i was probably running it to lean or my mix was wrong and he might not be to blame so my question is would running a ski lean cause a seizure as it has its own oil pump not premix or could any fuel related problem cause a seizure as thats what he is trying to say as they done the rebuild but i fitted the engine . thanks in advance on any help before i send ski back to dealer

Sounds like they screwed up, My guess is rotary gear. Didn't replace the shaft. Bill

warrenty is warrenty, unless you changed something after they gave it to you...

everything was replaced crank, balance shaft, rebored, new pistons, new rave's. all i done was drop in the engine fully rebuild and hook everything up i'll keep you's all posted on what the verdict is when i send ski in to get checked coz i've only spoke to dealer over phone about it as im to busy working but it sounded odd with the reply he was giving me over phone about it running lean
