So I'm in the process of removing my 787 engine on my 96 XP. So I got the whole motor loose and I went to remove the cable going to the starter. But come to find out the bolt that goes inside the starter to hold the red positive cable spins freely inside a starter can I figure out a way to get it out it just spins when I try to get the 10 mm bolt off

Yeah I tried that it just still spins inside the cable while the cables on I end up on doing it from the relay and pulled the whole engine out with it on there. Now I'm in it boy now I'm getting nervous. It's a mess inside there I got this huge hole in the hall because the motor mount broke right through it top layer of fiberglass that's why I had to rip it out

Yeah actually I read it yesterday! Can I ask you how hard was it to do it yourself because I'm not familiar with you know boat repair or fiberglass or anything like that and I am mechanically inclined. So I got the motor taken out of the hull so that was a first for me on a ski. Wasn't to bad too doo. So not just gotta figure out how to fix that mount because it definitely I know it's got to be pretty perfect with how high up it is and if it has to be flush with the top layer of the inside the hull. I dunno was thinking about seeing how much it would be to get fixed by a pro.

I have done quite a bit of fiberglass work so it wasn't that bad. You defiantly need the alignment tool though.
