engine oil

can i use a XPS 2 stroke synthetic engine oil for my SeaDoo 2001 challenger?. In the back of the can, it says this oil was ment for seadoo watercraft. But in the seadoo manual it says not to use synthetic oil.

I use it in all my Seadoos. It comes in a Yellow Jug.
