Has anyone tried or heard of using an oil flush on your 4tec engine?? Ive changed the oil 3 times now on my 03 gtx sc engine and its still coming out milky. Actually after the second time it looked pretty good but after 3rd time it looks more of a tan color then the actual oil color. Anyways thinking about doing an oil flush but not sure on what to use. Anyways purpose for the milky oil was that the seadoo was flooded with water and it got everywhere including oil reservoir. Thanks for the help.

I work at an auto dealership, Wynns makes a flush just for this purpose. I don't know if this could be used in 4-tek's, you might want to google and check it out.

If you run a motor long enough, the water in the oil will evaporate. Are you starting the motor between changes. With new oil,and you run the engine ,heat will get rid of moisture

Are you using the correct procedure for changing the engine oil? You should be able to get about 4 full quarts out using the correct procedure, which should leave little contaminated oil still in the engine crankcase.

In short, suck all the oil out then remove the suction tube and crank 10-15 seconds while holding throttle WOT (so it will NOT start, but will crank over) then re-insert suction tube and suck another 1/3 quart or so out and repeat... keep track of how much old oil you got out, after repeating 2 or 3 times you'll stop getting much out at which time that's about all you'll get.

I don't believe that using an engine flush additive will help you any, and I'm not sure if that would damage these 4TEC engines or not. :-\

You don't need a "$ flush".

Just by cheap oil...after water ingestion...at least 4-5 oil changes...keep doing so till it clears. follow the proper oil removal steps.

Hope like hell you didn't bend a rod or something....or corrode a bearing

you changing the filter too?
