My first post, fingers crossed.
I put my 1995 GTS in the water last week, for the first time this year. It ran great for about 5 minutes then slowly started to loose power. I was able to limp it home at an idle speed, which took about 20 minutes. It seemed to be running on only one cylinder. When ever I applied the throttle it wanted to bog down. Seemed like a fouled plug. I replaced the plugs and same thing. Could it be a dirty carb or bad fuel?

Took it out again this past weekend. It ran good for about 30 minutes then stopped and wouldn't start. Battery dead, had to get towed home. Sounds like a rectifier problem now??
Could it also be a fuel line problem after it gets warmed up? Furl lines are original.

Thanks for your advice!!

First stop riding it!

If your fuel lines are original there is a BIG ISSUE!

Fuel system and carb needs to be gone through before going any further.

What size is the gas line? 1/4" ? How much new line do I need? A couple feet? Does the old line collapse when the engine gets hot?

The old gray lines deteriorate on the inside and form a green goo that fouls up the rest of the fuel system and carbs. This causes the engine to run lean and will eventually destroy the engine if you keep running it. Get about 25' of the fuel line
