hello and help somtimes will have no spark unplug mpem from coil will start plug in mpem back in to coil will run great for hours and just die.stop switch and laynard tested ok it does not do this all the time mpem tested ok.any idea what to look at next thanks

Do you have an exhaust leak? That can cause an asphyxiation shut-down. Bill

thanks bill i dont think so but i will check that out and if you have any other ideas i can chec let me know

Go over your wire harness for any broken wires, checking continuity & restance of the ends. Check, clean each lug, connector, pin, cable & fuse holders male & female
internals, and di-electrical grease. Now you won't need to go over them agarn and
they are protected from corrosion mis-connection. Next I would go over the individule componets to find the problem. A bad rev limiter can cause a shut-down as well. Consult your Shop Manual for values. Bills86e

thanks again i took your advice cleaned and greased all connections did not run machine yet.can you tell me if it is the rev limiter i have to replace the mpem or is there an externial one i can add.also i understand ther is an upgraded mpem i can use put i dont know the correct number i am sure i can find out if you dont know.thank again
