Who's got a good setup for EGT kits or individual parts for less than the 300+$ for the koso gauges.

Also what is the best probe placement location for 787 and 717 engines.

Is it better to have one sensor or monitor both cylinders?

Subscribed. I have set up many egt systems but not a lot of these newer ones. The probe in your first link looks like a water flow st

The correct(standard or at least most commonly found) location is on the outside of the manifold about 1 to 2 inches from the manifold gasket. The 787 has tabs you can cut off and then drill and tap.

I just bought a koso setup for my rxx I will let you know what I think. It was 267 shipped with the fast response sensors. It only does egt it's not the 4 channel version that does rpm and water temp.
