Dont know whats wrong with my 2000 gtx

So when i was buying this ski, it says it got 333 hours on it, but about 30 on the new rebuilt engine. When he put the key in it would beep 2 times, start up normaly everything worked fine. Now its been about 2 1/2 weeks, i havent done anything to the sky. havent rode it never started it after buying just thinking of repairing the gelcoat. Now it wont beep at all when attaching the lanyard been told it might be the battery charged that maybe the buzzer others say. Before it would start without beeping now it just tries to start but cant. and theres a red light right when i put in the lanyard it goes on. Please help im worried something might be really wrong , if been trying to contact the seller and not able to. This is my first ski , please help.

it could be a dead/low battery ...just because you charged it dosent mean its any good.... the red blinking light is probubly the 12v low indicator saying your battery is low especially if it ties to strart but cant ...by that do you mean it tries to roll over but rolls over slow ???? take out the battery and take it to a parts storee and have it load tested before anything

Alright, and about the beeping? the battery to or just the buzzer dead?

most likely a dead buzzer ... thats a pretty common thing to go bad.... have the batt load tested and let me know what you find if it dosent have enough juice in it it wont even make the buzzer go off so check the battery first ..... my guess is that it is toaast and completly dead and not giving any power to anythin

Yeah like when i put the lanyard in need beep and red light. Then when i try to start it its trying but gets slower and slower and stops, i dont want to break my starter by keeping on trying so ill probly go check the battery

Umm, i guess if im understanding you correctly. WHen i just bought this it was fine and every day it would get worst with the beeping not working and evetuly not starting so im thinking its the battery, but when i try to start it , seems as its not having enough juice to start, and just slows down and stops, when i try again it does it even slower and eventualy stops, when i try it later its trying to start again. same thing =| but wont start

ok.... so its either going to be a weak/dead battery or a weak starter ....like i said first have the battery tested and if its bad get a new one and install it and im sure the probs will go away ...if battery tests good them your starter is giving out

sounds like the battery to me. just get another battery. if its getting slower and slower thats indicating a weak battery. the guy probably had it charging just before you got there and probably got it running so it started easier when you got there.

yeah they are both gonna be a little pricey but lets not jump the gun first test the battery and see what they find
