Do you need a boating license for my seadoo in BC?

Does anyone know if I need to get a boating license to ride a seadoo in BC? I was thinking of getting my license with MyBoatCard.com but I am not sure if I need one. Thanks

You need one to operate a seadoo anywhere in Canada.
