Do I have DESS key?

I have a 2012 Challenger SE 210 and the lanyard is a basic style (no chip). Does the key have a chip or just a fancy key? Is DESS only involving the lanyard or if the ignition key has a chip is there a way to tell? It looks a black cup with a key in the center. Hard to believe there are any electronics since its appears as though it is all plastic. Also, is there any way to duplicate the key for a backup?

That is not a DESS key, there are no chips in the key. DESS keys snap on to a post like you would see on a Sea Doo PWC but does depend on the year and if it's a Spark. I believe you can still get the keys with the key number from an original Sea Doo boat dealer. We replaced the ignition was about 50 bucks super easy.
