Destroyed wear ring

Hey guys,
Took the sportster out today and spit the wear ring into the impeller.
The boat was from a salt water home but now mine its only fresh. My question is can i replace it myself.? Im good at wrenching so thats no a problem but do i need any special tools? I didnt damage the impellar or anything else. One last question where can i buy this part online rather than getting bent over by the dealer? This really stinks since i just took my saftey coarse and got my boat license thursday.:cuss:

You can easily do it yourself. Find the How to thread here by Dr honda. Only tool you need is a impeller tool, find em on ebay for 15 bucks. I would only use an OEM Sea Doo wear ring. You need that and a new neoprene seal. Both parts are 60 bucks total. If the local dealer is raping you for them, use the parts link here.

And to clarify, the only special tool you need is the impeller tool. You still need basic hand tools like sockets and a sawzall or hacksaw to cut the old one out.
