i have a 2006 sportster and my DESS post keeps shorting out. i have replaced the post twice myself and the lanyard once, took it to the dealership and they replaced the post ran it for 2 hours and called it good but i put it in the water and by the time i get to where everyone hangs out its shorted again. Anybody got any ideas?
