Dess key issues

Have a 97 Sea-Doo GTI was running fine got it out of water couple weeks later tried to start it up nothing happened good battery,fuses. Was told my dess key mite have gotten dis programmed. Only thing I did do is charge the battery with the cables connected to battery while charging would this cause dess key to dis program engine turns over if jumping it with screwdriver any help would be highly appreciated

No but you could have fried the computer by charging with the battery connected.
What charger did you use?
Did you check all fuses?
Did this happen immediately after you charged it?

The lanyard doesn't ever "loose programming".
