Have 55 hours on my 2017 GTX 155S. Was out riding the other day and ski just shut off. Thankfully was not going fast when it eventually failed. Been having recent issue with maintenance required light going on and off but had no impact on performance or sound of engine. Took it in for service and it turns out the wiring harness was defective and wires sheared off and corroded and eventually broke. Have yet to follow up on it with BRP warranty but just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced similar problem? Seriously concerned about this happening again going forward.

bought a 2016 spark with 6 hours on it in may. It would start but IBR wasn't working and the dash wouldn't light up. It had a 3 year warranty so I bought it anyway and took it to the dealer. after a bunch of diag they found the same thing, one of the wires tot he diag port was rotted off. Terminals were corroded to the dash and a bunch of terminals in connectors were corroded. They replaced the entire harness and tried to get BRP to pay for it. BRP wouldn't pay for it since it was 3 weeks out of the regular 1 year warranty and into the extended BEST warranty which excludes wiring, but of course! Luckily my dealer is awesome and they policied the parts to the tune of $400 and we paid labor of $250. The machine was pristine otherwise like new and the guy said it was fresh water used so it was VERY strange, the service manager and techs were dumbfounded.
