New first time sea Doo owner here. Ran the 99 gti lean on my third trip out. Seized engine. Tore down carb. No smoking gun their except plugged inlet on the accelerator pump. Tore out tempo lines, cleaned petcock, cleaned gas tank, found a few pieces of black gasket like material in the tank but filter was clean. Filter in carb was clean also. While I wait for my top end kit, wanted to check all the coolant lines. Any helpful hints or best practices for getting this done. Engine bay is open with carb, top end, and tuned pipe removed. Just looking for the best way as I haven't quite deciphered how all the coolant lines interact yet.

Download a service manual if you haven't yet, the diagrams provide good details on routing of all lines. Remove and check all coolant lines and fittings, blow air through them etc, my experience doing a RESTO on the 97'GTX, I found a couple coolant lines completely blocked, one being a small fitting in the aft exhaust. The bailers and lines through the jet pump were clogged also. I also discovered going through the fuel system, both vents after the T fitting were clogged. I'd go through the carb in detail and rebuild with a genuine kit, source of most problems tend to be in this area. Replacing coolant lines is pretty cheap, try to go clear everywhere you can so you can get a visual to see flow.
