had the motor apart this winter found some light scoring on the 1 cylinder had the cylinder honed out. the mechanic said the rings looked fine reasembled engine. the machine ran great

last night i was riding and the machine boged down and died i found that the metal fitting bringing oil to the botom end poped out and drained all the oil from the tank into the engine compartment.

took off the head to find the cylinders to be dry i lubed with oil reasembled and the engine fired no probem ..

ran a dry compression test to find the cylander closet to the rear pushing 150 psi and the front cylinder pushing 120 psi

question[/B]

what should i do to the motor since it ran with no oil. the compression problem should i bore with new pistons and rings or bore and install new rings .. is it possible to use my existring weisco pistons and just install new ring to the oversized bore size ? .. any help would be greatly apreciated
