The shad should start laying eggs on the bulk heads soon any day now. This will attract the catfish to come in and swim along the bulkheads and gorge themselves on the easy meal. I will post when I start seeing them so that the fishing doo's can get in on the action. Lake Livingston is mostly bulkheaded below 190 so you can launch anywhere and quickly get on some. The shad will start piling up just before the sun comes up and once the sun breaks it will stop. So what I do is start fishing away from the bulkhead with live shad and work my way into the bulkhead with a bobber and after the sun rises work my way out following the cats chasing the shad. The shad will pile up by the thousands on the bulkhead its an awsome sight!!
I will report when they start piling up
