When I take my 2001 Challenger out and run it over 5000 rpms the engine cuts out and then it is hard to restart unless it sits for a while or I turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and then it will start. I think I may have caused this problem because I did something that I should have know better than to do. I didn't replace the gasket at the tuned pipe when I removed it to replace the starter and now some water it coming through there! I know you should always replace the gasket when removing it ... what was I thinking???:willy_nilly: I think this is causing the engine to overheat?
Can anyone tell me if this is my problem on why it stalls over 5000 rpm? Or do I have another issue???
Thanks in advance!!!
