I have a 2001 Seadoo Challenger 2000 with v-6, M-2 engine. When you first start the motor it runs real rough it will surge and stalls. When the motor gets up to running temp runs fine until you idle back to a no wake zone, then will surge and the stall. It almost acts like the fuel injector is not giving enough fuel to fire. This all happening at 1600-2000 RPM's and when the engine is cool. Once the motor gets up to running temp it runs better at idle but still is not 100% as it wants to stall but not as much when its cool. I put new plugs in the year, didn't help much. Runs fine above 2000 rpm. Been running 93 octane and added sea foam additive. I also changed the senser on the block last year that works with the engine temp as would a choke. The motor does seem to load up at slow speeds such as no wake zones, lots of blue smoke when you take off then runs clean.
Any advise or suggestions?
