E Extro New Member Mar 22, 2020 #1 This is a picture of my 1996 callenger . I was told that the carbon wear ring is too far back. Is the stainless steel ring adjustable? 3 notches? mikidymac Moderator Staff member Moderator Mar 22, 2020 #2 It does look pretty far back and the bellow really compressed. You have to push it back then remove the clip and put the clip in the next forward groove. I don’t know which groove it should be in from the factory though.
