hey guys. i have a 1999 seadoo challenger 1800 with twin rotax 787s. The one motor has be acting up this season, so basically the motor starts up good and idles good but as soon as i give it some trottle it gets to about 4000rpm boggs a bit and then shuts off.
things ive done
-rebuilt carbs
-new needles and seats and dialed the pop off pressures
-swapped out the fuel pump
-replaced the rectifier
-cleaned the rave valves
-(doesnt have the old grey tempo fuel lines)
i took the boat out last weekend for a water test and its still doing the same thing.
does anyone have any other ideas on what the problem might be? maybe the DESS system perhaps?
any help is appreciated.
thanks.
