Hello,
I have a 2007 Challenger 180 with the supercharged engine. The fuel pump won't start up unless I bypass the ground from the ECU. The ground wire from the ECU shows continuity to the connector at the fuel pump. So, it seems like it must be a bad ECU. What's odd is that it will turn on sometimes but it usually doesn't run for much longer than 10 or 15 minutes. Anyone had any other ideas on what might be going on. It's difficult to even find an ECU for this boat (it's part number 420665351) and then they are obscenely expensive. As I said, I can run it with the ground wire bypassed, but, of course, it throws a P0231 code for the a fuel pump short. I'm tempted to just run it with the ground bypassed and ignore the code. So, any thoughts? Any idea where I could get an ECU? Any other ECU's compatible with this part number?
About ready to give up....
