Hello, I am currently rebuilding a BN-40I-38 carburetor on a SeaDoo 2001 GTS (5521) and I am in the middle of the deconstruction process. There are a few things I ran into that I have some questions about:
1. Is this the accelerator pump? I bought this OEM rebuild kit but I'm not sure if it has the parts for this. Is this typically something separate?

2. Does it look like someone filed/modified this?

3. I didn't realize these were press fit and pulled this one out. It presses back in by hand and feels snug but think I should use Locktite 592 or JB weld to secure it back in place?
