Just got my gti going after some electrical issues. Went out this past weekend and had bad Cavitation on take off from low speeds. Believe I found my problem I think. Any input greatly appreciated!

Well, that is part of your problem. The other....you need to grease the PTO. Pump the correct synthetic grease in there just until you see the black boot on the PTO stop filling. This will push your driveshaft back towards the pump and increase the tension on the carbon seal. I can tell it's low as it is actually caving inwards. Don't forget to put a cable tie on there before you grease it.

I would change the pump oil and align the engine while you have it apart. Your motor may be out of alignment .

Thanks for all the advice just put her back together with new boot ss ring and carbon ring and also found my neoprene seal was just about gone. Also changed pump oil and filled pto boot.
