I fattened up the Main jet by one size 52 to a 54 (not sure if they have a 1 in front of the numbers.)
because it was suggested since I am running premix and also that I had signs of lean running on the pistons I replaced. I am not getting good throttle response up high RPM. I went by the book on setting the needles. Wonder if I should try opening the High speed needle? I also had some issues after idling about 1/4 mile. Felt like an ignition or electrical issue to me the way it sputtered. It wouldn't take fuel and was missing. It cleared up and did OK after a few minutes. I am breaking in the new top end and I did put extra oil in the mix.
