Hi everyone just looking for some help. I have a 1999 GTX LTD. I was having a problem with the ski bogging from a dead stop. I checked the accelerator pump and realized it was not working so I decided to bypass the pump. I removed the stock 75 LS jets and installed 85 LS jets and plugged the line that feeds the pump.
Now the ski pulls hard from a dead stop and reaches 6500 rpms then drops down to 5500. I removed the carb and replaced the base gasket and still have no luck. I appreciate any advice thanks.
