After much diagnosing, I have come to the conclusion that my carb is sticking open after hot shut off, which is why it wont refire when hot and the smell of gas. Would carb cleaner work to fix this or not?
After much diagnosing, I have come to the conclusion that my carb is sticking open after hot shut off, which is why it wont refire when hot and the smell of gas. Would carb cleaner work to fix this or not?
You need to remove the carb if you are going to use carb cleaner. If you use it on the engine then you will run the carb cleaner through the engine too. thus removing oil from the whole engine.
