Can't take it out...

I attempted to change my steering cable today. I got the front part out very quickly but the back part i cant take out... Can someone help me please?

were it goes through to the prop there is a rubber like bolt that you have to take off. its like a 1 1/8 inch i believe. its hard to reach you have to have the right tool.

finally made it

it took a lot of time... i had to figure out what tool to use, but its finally done. Thanks to all of you who commented here, your help was pretty useful. Now im waiting anxiously for the next weekend to try it out. Any advise on assuring its water tight in the back part?

well, its a rubber bolt/screw (not sure of the correct name but know what ur talking about) just tighten it up enough, again its rubber, water will not get through
