Can Someone ID this Engine?

Supposedly a 94 engine but the airbox looks different :

What model is it?

The engine ID is on the little black tag on top of the electrical compartment.

As for it being the wrong air box? The tag on the rear of the hull will have some numbers stamped in it. The last two numbers are the year. Another sticker on the back of the hull will have a 58XX number that gives you the model.

It looks like the "original" seadoo hull (88 vintage). They stopped in 93. If it is a 93 SP then that is the correct airbox.

Whats strange is the hull is the same as my 96 SPI and a 94 supposedly but the 587 motor with that airbox on it was not used in 94 I think, so would be a 92 or 93 engine maybe?

The black tag on the front engine box, just out of view will tell you the engine and the last 2 digits of the VIN will tell you the hull year.
