Cleaned my raves to day for the first time. Found that the 2 that are on the port motor have broken corners on the guillatine. I also found that the part of the bellows that screws on the the top of the guillatine doesn't have any threads on it.(so how would the bellows pull the slide up?) Funny thing is that this engine runs perfect and all problems i have had have been with the other side.

I have found a couple sets on ebay that have come off of jetskis with the 787.I have a speedster with twin 787s. Will these raves work fine on my boat? My initial thoughts are yes but I thought I would check before I bid on them.

Thanks in advance.

does a 1995 xp 800 have the 787 in it. Might sound dumb but just checking. I think i have heard the 787 referred to as the 800. Thanks.

is there a really big differance between these and the slotted ones. This is on ebay for 25 bucks free shipping. I don't want to spend a "BOAT" load but I also don't want to short myself on performance. What makes the slotted ones better?

difference? i'd say yes, why....for one, the slotted ones, are made of better material. Performance wise, in 97, challenger 1800's, came with non-slotted, which seadoo put a recall, to upgrade to the new ones (slotted), so i would have to say, the slots are for a relief passage, less material, to make them perform, they way there intended.......most of which is mentioned, is opinion/theory, but you know what they say about opinions.....besides the challenger recall.

is the bellows supposed to screw to the top of the guillatine. The ones on my right engine do,k but the ones on my left engine don't.

they all thread onto the shaft of the valve.

I got a few, let me check, make sure i wont be needing them.
