I am trying to bring this 1993 SPX back to life. It will now crank and run on the hose. I have rebuilt carbs and check all systems. The clear hose with the reddish tint is not attached to the grommet and the small plastic piece that fits in the hole is broken. Also the hose is torn in half with the remainder of the hose found in the bottom of the hull. I have studied diagrams but cannot figure where this hose is supposed to go and what it does. I presume its some type of vacuum hose?? If anyone know what/where it goes please help? Also if any knows how to replace the small plastic piece please share! Thanks!
