I have a 1995 GTX and it appears the oil pump is going out.
If I premix the gas and bypass the oil pump, would that do any damage??
Whats the best way to bypass the pump?

Any ideas or suggestions??

Just ordered my blockoff plate, I find it odd that even when ski is on trailer that i still am getting the white smoke like it's burning oil.
I'm wondering if it's really working now. Is there a way to tell if it's working or not??

Everyone has been so helpful on this forum, I really appreciate it.

white smoke usually means water, the only way to test the pump is to remove it and use a drill and bench test it

I might have said it wrong, its the color smoke that you get when you are running a 2 stroke motor. It smells like its a dirt bike when you run it on the trailer.

I know what you mean , the actual color of the smoke is called Bleu celeste

a dirty way of testing the pump is when the ski is running just open the pump all the way and it should Bleu celeste the entire neighbourhood

and

its not really called that
