I am looking to buy a 2007 RXP 215hp with just 82 hours on it...
Can you tell me what the problems are with these engines? I know about the supercharger needs to be rebuild. But is there also something with the valves? Or is this only with the older models?

Thanks for your reply's...

The valve stem issues were solved with the 2007 models and up. The only issue I have heard with this model year is some had a bad rear motor mount - try to wiggle engine - should be no movement
if it moves you have a mount issue - replace if necc.

On the supercharger make sure you have PROOF it's been done. Most sellers will say it's been done as they know of these issues but it's a $500 bill so unless that's been completed as
part of the PO regular maintenance I doubt they would spend the $500 prior to selling - and remember it's 100 hours or two years.

Thanks for your reply...

Good news on the valve stem!
If i buy it i will rebuild the sc no matter what. So then i'll know its ok.
I will check the motormount!

You've been a great help!
Thanks again!

Some bad valves were still found on the 2007 models I think. 2008 and newer are 100% good valves. Bad valves will have a number that starts with 72 and the good valves will have a number that starts with 75.

Hope that helps
