Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me the cause of one of these Cylinder head nuts/bolts breaking off? And is this the cause of loss of power and speed?
I was riding my jetski one day and noticed that the power wasn’t there like before and top end speed wasn’t there. I lost about 300 rpm and about 5mph.
The maint light was coming on so I swapped the plugs and charged the battery and still was getting the warning light until I reset it by holding down the two of the information center buttons.
and then I re test drove it and still felt the same power loss in top end speed. I then inspected the engine and found the nut/bolt broken off and laying on the hull floor.
im at a loss of why this would happen.
Any help would be appreciated and I posted pictures of exactly what nut/bolt I’m talking about.
